“So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable.”(anitpromoters.com)

Sometimes the real reward lies in working directly with program participants in a hands-on project. So if you are the kind of person that likes to get your hands dirty and would like to share your gift of labour, a World Accord ConstructionExpedition is the right place for you!

Whether we are building a school, community centre, new homes for program participants or some other vital local project, we always welcome people willing to lend a helping hand - no special construction skills are necessary. A Construction Expedition is the perfect way for you to:

• Put your building skills to work or build new ones
• Meet new friends and hear their stories
• Feel a sense of accomplishment
• Work on an international team
• Experience a different culture
• Make a lasting difference for people in a local community
2013 Program

This year we will be collaborating with the campesino (peasant) farmers of west-central Honduras and the women of the Guatemalan highlands who have been working hard to improve life for their families.  They have adopted improved heath, nutritional and agricultural practices and upgraded their literacy.  This year, the three communities we will be working with have asked for our help to build need facilities and achieve their dreams.

We invite you to join us for one of these upcoming trips. It will be an experience you will long remember – one that will open your heart to a different way of looking at the world. The two-week trips are open to all people who would like to make a real difference in the world and in the lives of poor, but hard working people. Construction skills and Spanish are not required but are very welcome.
