Having been a Real Estate hiring manager for the last five years I have had the opportunity to interview a slew of eager candidates all wanting the same thing: to become Real Estate agents!
However, that is where the similarities end because the reasons they choose the career could not be more different, and after doing this a while, I have noticed a correlation between those people’s reasons and their success. For instance, if someone says “I am compelled to build a business that has no glass ceiling on my income potential,” then that is a person who is obviously focused on building a business.
The fact is too many potential Real Estate agents watch HDTV and think, that looks easy – what’s hard about that job. The thought simply never occurs to them that being a REALTOR takes a tremendous amount of self-determination, resolve, and passion for wanting to build a life for yourself that is based purely on your own talent and ability to build a business no matter the market.
Therefore, if you want to go into Real Estate as a career choice, let’s discuss some reasons you may want to consider it:
1. Unlimited potential for income
2. Create a business that excites you
3. You are a focused and determined person who understands how to achieve goals
4. You love the thrill of making things happen.
